Seven Three Distilling Co.’s newest portfolio addition is a mixture of current and new. Bywater Four Grain Bourbon is a blend of our Bywater Wheated Bourbon – made with Louisiana corn and wheat and distilled, barreled, and bottled in New Orleans – and sourced 6 year old 21% rye bourbon. Head Distiller Luka Cutura, with his mentor world-renowned Nancy Fraley guiding the blending process, created a four grain bourbon that has become an immediate success.
Nestled along the banks of the Mississippi River, this neighborhood “by the water” was part of the original bourbon passage that once brought barrels of Kentucky’s finest by the boatload to satisfy those thirsting for this true American spirit. And now today, our team takes great pride crafting each bottle of Bywater Bourbon right here in that same city of New Orleans. This unique blend of bourbon highlights four distinct grains, each bringing their own sophisticated flavors. Louisiana corn and wheat deliver signature vanilla-toned sweetness. High-quality rye and barley make for a full-flavored, yet exceptionally smooth bourbon. Lastly the barrel aging, influenced by the Southern heat, rounds it out with a beautiful oak and cherry finish.
Bywater Four Grain Bourbon is available in our distillery now and in stores, restaurants, and bars the week of September 25th.
